Community guidelines

Tagly only works if the stories are real. These are the rules we hold everyone to, and what happens when they're broken.

Last updated 7 September 2026

Be genuine

Post about places you actually visited and things you actually experienced. Say what you honestly think — a business cannot require you to praise them, only to follow the brief.

Real numbers only

Screenshots must be unedited and taken from your own account. Do not buy views, followers or engagement, do not reuse another creator's story, and do not inflate the figures you enter. This is the fastest way to lose access to Tagly permanently.

Disclose paid partnerships

You are being paid, so make that clear: use the platform's paid partnership label or a plain #ad, in the same language as your story. Hiding the commercial relationship misleads your audience and may break advertising law where you live.

Prohibited content

No hate speech, harassment or threats. No sexual content or nudity. No violence or dangerous acts. No content involving minors in a promotional context. No illegal goods, drugs or weapons. No gambling or adult services promotion. No misleading health, medical or financial claims. No content that breaks someone else's copyright or trademark, and no filming people without their consent.

Alcohol may appear only where the campaign allows it and local law permits, and never targeted at under-18s.

Respect each other

Businesses: review promptly, give a real reason when you reject, and never pressure a creator into work outside the published brief. Creators: turn up when you say you will, and follow the venue's rules. Everyone: keep messages civil.

Reporting

If you see a fake submission, a misleading campaign or abusive behaviour, report it in the app or email support@tagly.app. Reports are reviewed by our team and we don't reveal who reported what.

Enforcement

Depending on severity we may ask for more information, reject a submission, hold or reverse a reward, pause a campaign, suspend an account, or close it permanently. Serious or repeated fraud means permanent removal and forfeited rewards. You can always ask us to review a decision.

Questions about this policy?

Email support@tagly.app and a human will reply. If your question concerns a specific campaign or payout, include the campaign name and the date you submitted.
